More women with most common autoimmune diseases die from cardiovascular disease than men
Women with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus or systemic sclerosis had a higher cardiovascular disease-related death rate than men, signaling a need for improved CVD risk management, finds a new study in journal Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes
