Las mujeres que han sido acosadas o que obtuvieron órdenes de alejamiento eran más propensas a padecer enfermedades cardíacas y sufrir un ataque o derrame cerebral en comparación con las mujeres que no habían pasado por estos eventos, según los hallazgos de un estudio nuevo publicado en la revista Circulation
