On September 1, 2022, Dr. Elkind took a leave of absence from his position as professor of neurology and epidemiology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and attending neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, New York, NY to join the Association in this current role.
